LadyBird in a saree

Welcome humans,

How to wear Red? How to wear a red saree? How to wear a red lipstick? How to style red outfit?

Do you ask yourself these questions when you pick up a bright and courageous piece of red outfit? Well #colourpartywithcolourqueen is my little effort to show you how to wear the red outfit right.

Today’s outfit is a Red Saree. A red & black polka dot saree. While I love to wear a saree in a particular way (See photos below), but you can drape it according to your size and comfort.

I paired this gorgeous red saree with a black crop top as I didn’t have option to get a blouse stitched according to my size (You know why… yes lockdown)

I just changed the jewellery to create 2 different looks. The one constant thing apart from my saree in both the looks were my super chic Black Peep Toe Boots.

Look 1

For the first look I paired the saree with a black baguette, black metal bangles, a red watch & my super favourite red heart ring. For the make up I did a black smokey eye with Kajal, wore my statement red lipstick and finished the look my applying the same lipstick as a blusher. I would totally wear this minimalist yet comfortable look on a summer day.

Look 2

For the second look I paired the same make up, shoes & saree with silver oxidised jewellery.

I didn’t wear these lovely earrings as I wanted to keep my look minimalist. But if you like all the dazzle you can go for it. I would totally wear this look for a Haldi ceremony or a get together.
